Ramin Kader

As a business leader with over 15 years of experience, I specialize in building and scaling high-growth Fintech and Crypto platforms. My career is defined by a combination of analytical rigor and the hands-on execution mindset of an entrepreneur.

Currently, as Director at Bitvavo, I lead the Markets and Institutional/B2B business unit, where I am accountable for the exchange, liquidity, and P&L. I lead a multidisciplinary team across Business Development, Product, Engineering, and Operations. My focus is on driving institutional growth, scaling teams, and improving performance in a complex, fast-moving environment to firmly establish the platform as the market leader for digital assets.

My background bridges banking, fintech, and crypto, including roles at ING, bunq, and Payconiq. At Payconiq Netherlands, I held COO and CFO responsibility and later led the organization as CEO during a transition phase. I was part of the team that built the company from the ground up, ultimately contributing to its strategic acquisition by Currence/iDEAL. My experience also includes leading product operations at bunq and executing high-impact strategic assignments for CXOs globally at ING.

Outside of work, my background as a semi-professional athlete shaped my approach to leadership, with a strong focus on discipline, consistency, and performing under pressure.
