Nikola Stojanow is a sovereign technology architect and one of the early builders of the Layer-1 era. A co-founder of æternity Blockchain, one of the first Layer-1 networks, he was active long before tokenization, stablecoins, and digital assets became boardroom conversations. He founded AE Ventures, a blockchain fund that backed 15 startups in its first two years, and later launched Meta Change Capital, a €100M venture fund focused on blockchain development in emerging markets across Europe, MENA, Asia, and Africa. His work today focuses on sovereign digital infrastructure and B2G technology strategy, with extensive business development experience spanning Germany, Eastern Europe, MENA, Asia, and the Pacific.
